Anytime I go on a work trip, which admittedly isn’t often because the government employs me, there are always 5 things I bring on work trips that aren’t clothing. Some of them you might bring too but I’m guessing there’s at least one that might surprise you!

5 Non-Clothing Items I Bring on Work Trips
business cards & holder
Okay this one is pretty standard but you cannot imagine how many times people forget these. Or maybe you don’t have a card holder. I highly recommend getting one, I used to keep mine in my wallet or a small pocket in my bag but I really hated pulling out my wallet with cash and cards etc each time. When I kept them in the pocket in bag they just got beat up.
eye & face masks
I bring a slew of individual beauty face masks or eye masks to use in the morning and in the evening because I love being able to do some extra skincare! Usually I bring the face sheets so I’m not lugging a tub of face mask there and back.
booty band / resistance band
If I’m not going to make it down to the gym or there’s less than zero time to do that I make sure I’ve got a resistance band so I can at least use it to stretch and do a few exercises in the room. I use the one my aunt gave me since it’s thick and solid.
small candle
Hotel rooms always have a smell, whether it be sterile or just plain gross so I bring a small candle and book of matches. That’s pretty self explanatory right?
face refreshing spray
My skin gets super dry in those conference rooms so I will run into the bathroom and spray this on my face when I feel it getting dry or too sweaty.
